Chief Financial Officer
Position Overview
Taipei American School is currently seeking a seasoned professional to become Chief Financial Officer (CFO), assuming the newly created role from July 1, 2024. The position is being created as a result of the increased complexity of managing a large school, and planned personnel moves over the next few years. The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for managing the financial operations of Taipei American School, ensuring its financial health and sustainability, as well as Human Resources and Technology. They will oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and compliance requirements. The CFO will work closely with the Head of School, Senior Leadership, and the Board of Directors to develop and implement financial strategies that support the School’s mission and goals. The CFO will oversee three administrators and approximately 50 staff members working in three departments – Finance (Controller), Human Resources (Director of Human Resources), and Technology (Director of Technology).
