Position Overview

Taipei American School is searching for their next Director of Faculty. The Director of Faculty will lead Taipei American School’s efforts to ensure that pedagogy and teaching practice are aligned with the school’s mission, values, and Schoolwide Learning Outcomes (SWLOs). Through a deep focus on faculty growth and development, this role will champion a culture of professional excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability. At the heart of the role is the recruitment, hiring, training, mentoring, evaluating, and retaining of world-class faculty. The Director of Faculty will oversee faculty performance and growth processes, professional development, and policy while serving as the primary bridge between faculty and Human Resources. The Director of Faculty will also serve as a strategic advisor to the Deputy Head of School and partner with the Director of Academics on matters of instructional quality, faculty culture, and organizational development.
